"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand"                    -Vince Lombardi

My life revolves around sports.

Whether I'm reading, playing, watching, or talking sports, I find myself inspired by the competition and the ability sports has to test an individual’s endurance and fortitude. I have spent countless hours glued to the television enjoying the victories, extra innings, overtime, shootouts and unfortunately the defeats.

I'm a strong athlete with a competitive edge. In elementary school, I swam on the local Y! Swim team. In middle school, I played in both softball and basketball leagues. In high school I was the starting goalie for the JV and Varsity hockey team, and captain for the Varsity soccer team. As a goalie you need to be both physically and mentally conditioned to handle the responsibility and pressure of the position. Being the starting goalie for our school's hockey team had taught me about discipline, trust, and working tirelessly toward an aspired goal. As captain of the Varsity Soccer team, I learned a lot about leadership and effective communication. Participating in team sports, especially being captain, taught me about the importance of team work, commitment, and leading by example. These are all important life lessons that I carry with me today.

My passion for sports extended beyond the playing field. I was invited to share  my knowledge of sports by writing for the highschool newspaper. While focusing my writing on fantasy sports, students from all grades would approach me and ask their personal "fantasy" questions seeking advice. During lunchtime, my friends and I would play our own mock versions of “Stump the Schwab,” and every Tuesday we would guess who would be on the cover of Sports Illustrated that week. Additionally, I broadcasted the girls JV and Varsity basketball games, working as the color commentator.

My core skills include my ability to multi-task while dealing with tight deadlines, using my creativity and adaptability to navigate unsuspected challenges that arise, while utilizing my interpersonal and communicative strengths to foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, supervisors, whether it is through presentation formatting and delivery or personalized customer service.

I have over 3 years of experience working in the sports business industry working in a variety of areas, including sports-marketing, research, sales, management, and sponsorship. I have tremendous organizational, and creative skills, as well as being a great team player. Punctuality and the ability to quickly grasp the tasks at hand are imperative characteristics that I can immediately bring to the company. I believe my core skills and strengths coupled with my proven record of contribution in marketing, media, and sponsorship would add tremendous value to a team.
